This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, including high-risk obstetric cases, with a focus on safe and supportive childbirth. The position offers the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse environment, circulate on cesarean sections, and contribute to maternal and neonatal health. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP. Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Assisting with amniocentesis, sterile speculum exams, vaginal delivery, baby friendly protocols, breastfeeding support, cervical cerclage, cesarean section, fetal monitoring and assessment, postpartum care, neonatal assessment, use of external and internal fetal monitoring equipment, pain management, labor support, and handling high-risk obstetric cases. Additional Details: Travelers are first to float within scope to meet facility needs; may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to previous employment questions and provide two recent references covering one year within the last three years.
