Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,750 per week

Job Summary

A labor and delivery registered nurse (RN) is needed at a healthcare facility located in Frisco, Colorado. The role involves providing care to patients for low-risk pregnancies at an acute care setting. The position requires working day shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The nurse will be involved in managing deliveries, postpartum care, and working with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting August 3, 2026.

Required Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE Certification
• Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience following AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Shift & Scheduling

• Self-scheduling is permitted
• Candidates are expected to work 3 full weekends in a 6-week period and 3 on-call shifts within the same timeframe

Responsibilities

• Managing low-risk labor and delivery cases, including C-sections in a dedicated OB suite
• Making fetal strips using Phillips OBIX systems
• Providing postpartum care

Additional Information

• The unit features 8 LDRP beds, 1 triage bed, and is equipped with CPAP and vent support for neonatal patients
• Charge nurses take assignments; there are OB technicians on each shift
• In-house neonatology and anesthesia are available as needed
• Orientation comprises 2 shifts, and a 4-shift cancellation policy applies during the assignment
