Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,740 per week

Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Nurse in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves caring for laboring patients, performing nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and providing couplet care. The role requires working at two nearby facilities and offers a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Three out of four weekends
• No call requirement
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Circulating C-Section experience
• BLS through AHA
• ACLS through AHA
• NRP certification
• Ability to care for laboring patients during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Proficiency with EPIC Stork documentation
• Centricity fetal monitoring system
• Pyxis medication system

Additional Information

• Float: Traveler will float between two facilities based on needs
• Units have approximately 16 and 10 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) rooms
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1, possibly 1:2 during early labor or induction, and 1:3 for couplet care
