About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Nampa, Idaho.
Responsibilities
- Staffing LDRP beds (14)
- Utilizing 2 OR suites for C-Sections
- Circulating and recovering during deliveries
- Providing 1:1 labor support and newborn care
- Completing 1 hour of newborn care, triage, circulating C/S, and postpartum couplet care
- Attending deliveries and completing 1 hour of newborn care, triage, circulating C/S, and postpartum couplet care
- Titrating drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
- Staffing triage (1:3), utilizing resource nurse if needed
- Providing 4 shifts of unit/department specific orientation
Requirements
- 3+ years of L&D experience
- Mother-baby experience preferred
- Experience with magnesium
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Must have BLS, ACLS, and STABLE certifications
Qualifications
- Must have 1 year of experience
- Will accept 1 year of experience
Skills
- Experience with magnesium
- Experience with Pitocin protocol
- Experience with insulin drips
