About the role
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position in Wisconsin involves providing high-quality maternal and newborn nursing care within a hospital setting. The role includes collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered services. Additionally, there is cross-training to care for Medical Surgical and Emergency Intensive Care Unit patients as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial nursing assessments
- Manage labor and delivery procedures
- Respond to obstetric emergencies
- Monitor fetal heart rates
- Manage pregnancy-related conditions such as hypertension and diabetes
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and surveillance
- Provide patient education
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Two-year degree in nursing
- Wisconsin Registered Nursing license (must be maintained)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 6 months of hire
- Stable Certification within 1 year of hire
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of hire

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
