Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,055 per week
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Shelby, North Carolina. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care within a 241-bed Level 3 Trauma teaching hospital.
Job Details
Location: 201 East Grover Street, Shelby, NC 28150
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a cycle of every 6 weeks
Required Qualifications
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Valid licensure in nursing
At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience
Ability and willingness to work in an LDRP setting
Patient Types and Ratios
Labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
RN-to-patient ratios of 1:2 during inactive labor, 1:1 during active labor, and 1:3-4 for couplets
Support staff including charge nurse, resource nurse, and hospitalist for newborn care
Telemetry monitoring and fetal monitoring technology utilized
Floating Requirements
Flexibility to float within region 3 facilities (Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division including main campus, Mercy, and LCH) as needed, with appropriate compensation for mid-shift travel between facilities
