Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,055 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join the team at a healthcare facility located in Florence, Alabama. The assignment involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department with a focus on postpartum and fetal monitoring. This position offers a full-time schedule, with guaranteed hours and required clinical expertise.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support-Obstetric (ALS-OB), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in Labor and Delivery
• Valid license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment
• Emergency response
• Postpartum care
• Time management skills

Additional Information

• Unit has 9 beds with patient ratios of 1:1
• Requires strong communication skills, empathy, adaptability, and attention to detail
• Equipment includes electronic health record systems such as Centricity and Meditech

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
