Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,157 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina, starting August 17, 2026.

About the Role

This position is a fast-paced, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with double labor assignments occurring daily. The unit averages 20 births in 24 hours and 30-40 admits. The facility uses PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 2:1.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in Labor and Delivery
• Perform sterile vaginal exams
• Provide immediate newborn care
• Float within or near the facility as needed
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Circulate to the operating room (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (3 years preferred)
• Experience with over 300 births per month
• EPIC experience required
• Current BCLS (BLS), AWHONN Intermediate (or C-EFM in lieu), and NRP certifications
• NC or Compact nursing license (pending acceptable for submission)
• Open to floating as needed
