Schedule

• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 4 × 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)

Responsibilities & Skills

• Administration of blood & blood products
• Antihypertensives and Magnesium Sulfate therapy
• Circulate for C-section and recover C-section patients
• Epidural Anesthesia management
• Facility with 200–300 births/month
• High Risk Antepartum care
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Labor & Delivery, including sterile vaginal exams
• Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)
• Pain assessment & management, including use of PCA (IV)
• Anticoagulation therapy
• Assist with high-risk delivery
• Insulin drips
• Triage of obstetrical patients
• Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
• Wound assessment and care

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Licensure: Active WA state license or Compact License
• Charting System: Epic
