About the role

Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position in Salem, Virginia. Specialty: Labor and Delivery. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the labor and delivery process for patients.
• Assist with cesarean sections and provide post‑partum care.
• Conduct OBED triage and coordinate inductions.
• Work closely with midwives to provide comprehensive care.
• Utilize equipment such as Corometrics to monitor patients' health status.

Requirements

Must have OB experience. Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN. Experience as a cesarean section circulator, 1st assist, or scrub tech is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour nights (19:00 – 07:00). Must be available for 4 weekend shifts each 4‑week schedule: Saturdays and Sundays for day shifts; Fridays and Saturdays for night shifts.
