Travel L&D RN - $1,905 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced travel nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract position in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, managing complex situations, and working night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) for 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes and support patients in the laboring process
• Circulate C-sections and assist in surgical procedures as necessary
• Administer IV drips, including magnesium, and perform necessary assessments and interventions
• Document patient care using the Meditech system and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care

Required Experience & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWOHHN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate
• Experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit
• Skills in scrub and circulating roles in the operating room are beneficial
