About the role

Lactation and Delivery Postpartum Nursing in an acute care setting. The role involves circulating in the operating room, managing postpartum care, antepartum care, newborn care, and providing OB triage. The position is ideal for a professional with experience in high-risk obstetric and postpartum nursing, offering a dynamic environment focused on maternal and neonatal health.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
• Weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as needed
• No guaranteed hours or overtime

Assignment begins on 08/31/2026 and concludes on 11/29/2026.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room
• Manage postpartum and antepartum care
• Provide newborn care
• Perform OB triage
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Intermediate or Advanced Certification in Women’s Health from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) or National Certification Corporation (NCC) in Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience in post-partum, labor, delivery, or neonatal care preferred
• Professional profile and two professional references required as part of the application process

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
