Travel L&D Postpartum RN - $1,390 per week
Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum Care for a position located in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing high‑quality postpartum nursing care in a 25‑bed facility, supporting both mother‑baby and gynecological patient needs. The RN will work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Schedule
Dayshift, 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week (13‑week assignment).
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Postpartum and mother‑baby experience
- Texas location requirement
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in postpartum or maternal health
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mother‑baby units
- GYN surgery experience
- Warm and bubbly personality
Unit Description
The postpartum unit has 25 beds and is staffed with 4‑5 nurses per shift, with patient ratios of 1:5‑6. The unit utilizes the Meditech EMR and CPNT. Typical procedures include postpartum care and GYN surgeries. Float rotations may be required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
