Travel L&D Postpartum RN - $1,635 per week

About the role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, Texas. The postpartum floor Registered Nurse (RN) night‑shift position provides specialized postpartum care in a Level IV maternal and Level III NICU setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and managing a couplet ratio of 1:4, with responsibilities that include monitoring patients, administering treatments, and utilizing EMR systems. Start date: 11/02/2026.

Responsibilities

• Monitor postpartum patients and administer treatments
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Perform non‑stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin, magnesium, and heparin drips
• Maintain a couplet ratio of 1:4
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate effectively

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider certification preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year of postpartum or Labor & Delivery experience preferred (0 years minimum required)
• No specific location restrictions

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12‑hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
