Job Summary
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specialized in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves providing compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification is required
- Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired
- Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Professional certification
- Related education and/or experience
Additional Information
- The role involves direct patient care in a Mother/Baby setting, including assessment, education, and discharge planning for postpartum women and newborns
- The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document care accurately, and participate in quality improvement activities
