Job Summary

The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Mother/Baby Couple Care in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for postpartum patients and their newborns, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing guidelines. The nurse will contribute to positive patient outcomes through dedicated care coordination, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Schedule

• Night shift (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/10/2026

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one year recent clinical experience in an acute care environment within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Professional certification related to maternal and neonatal care
• Experience in a maternal/baby care setting

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for postpartum patients and their newborns
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based practice in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing guidelines
• Provide dedicated care coordination, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team
• Support postpartum and newborn care to promote optimal outcomes for mothers and infants
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols
• Perform moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 75 pounds
