Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,232 per week

About the role

The role of an Interventional Radiology Technologist involves assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient's blood vessels and organs. Some procedures may include angioplasty and biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging guidance
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort
• Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting any adverse reactions or complications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited program
• Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must be willing to travel to various locations within the United States
