About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Winfield, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the procedure room.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Illinois.
- Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Skills
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
Pay
