About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. The position requires BLS and AART certification and scrub experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of interventional radiologists.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying necessary equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
- BLS and AART certification
- Experience in interventional radiology technology
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal training program in interventional radiology technology
- Current certification in BLS and AART
