Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,282 per week

About the role

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Schenectady, New York.

Responsibilities

• Setup C arm for bypass with stent placement procedures
• Perform vascular access procedures such as hemodialysis catheter insertion/exchanges
• Perform CVS access procedures including port-a-catheter, CT & US guided biopsies, chest tube insertions, thoracentesis, paracentesis
• Insertion and exchanges of drainage catheters, nephrostomy tubes, biliary drains, pleurx catheters for effusions & ascites
• Perform angiograms with interventions, stenting, angioplasty, etc.
• Perform gastrostomy and jejunostomy exchanges
• Support a sports medicine doctor for ESIs and other simple procedures once monthly for half a day

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of specialty experience in Interventional Radiology
• ARRT certification
• RT degree and VIR certification preferred

Qualifications

• No block scheduling is allowed
• Floating is required but infrequent
• Call is 1 weeknight weekly
• Prior travel experience not required

Skills

• Proficient in interventional radiology techniques
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
