Travel IMU / Stepdown RN - $2,211 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position located in an Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU) with 18 beds. The Registered Nurse will provide care for typical step-down type patients, including those with post-MI with sheath pull, ADHS, postop vascular issues, GI bleed, and DKA. The RN will be responsible for titrating drips including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene, and will be expected to monitor telemetry for all patients.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekends as scheduled
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMU
• Titrate medications including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene as per protocols
• Monitor telemetry and read strips to assess patient heart rhythm
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with typical step-down patients preferred
