About the Role
As a Travel ICU RN, you will provide critical care to ICU patients, assess and monitor their condition, operate advanced life-support equipment, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient status and monitor their condition
- Administer medications and treatments
- Operate advanced life-support devices
- Ensure patient safety and record clinical data
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring
- Educate patients and families
- Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Maintain professionalism in high-acuity settings
Requirements
- One year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred: CCRN and other specialized certifications
