About the role
An experienced ICU Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive critical care to patients in high-acuity settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Operate advanced life support equipment
- Administer complex medications
- Document interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure patient safety
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain infection control standards
- Provide patient and family education
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Qualifications
Preferred Certifications: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS, or other relevant credentials.
Skills
- Critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in clinical procedures, equipment operation, and documentation
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with patient care
