Role: The Travel ICU RN provides critical care to patients in intensive care units, assessing and monitoring critically ill individuals, operating advanced life-support equipment, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, manage medications and treatments, perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring, document care, educate patients and families, ensure safety, and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of ICU experience, a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; preferred certifications include CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. Key Duties: Monitoring and responding to patient status changes, managing life-support equipment, documenting care, providing patient/family education, maintaining proficiency, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
