About the Role

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specialty position located in Arlington Heights, IL. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a 36-bed ICU, including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units. The position offers a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, starting from August 30, 2026, with an expected end date of November 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized critical care in a 36-bed ICU, including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed

Requirements

• IL licensing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 2+ years of ICU experience including EPIC charting
• Travel experience preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical ICU patients preferred

Additional Information

• Candidate must submit an updated resume, skills checklist completed within 12 months, one reference completed within 12 months, and IL license verification prior to start.
• Orientation sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays; next session on 08/26/2026.
• Orientation is non-billable and lasts 6 hours.
