About the role
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing critical patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a focus on medical and surgical critical care. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient types and support a team-based ICU environment.
Schedule
- Night shifts with 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to ICU patients
- Support mobility, vented patient mobilization, ambulation, and assist with patient transport
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate medications
- Manage proning, hypothermia protocols, chest tubes, drains, and invasive line monitoring (arterial lines, CVP)
Requirements
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 0 or more years of experience in the ICU
- WA state licensure or compact state license
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel experience preferred but may be flexible with ICU experience
Additional Information
- Orientation involves general onboarding and unit-specific training, including ICU competency certification prior to start
- Unit includes a diverse team of healthcare professionals, such as a free-floating charge nurse, rapid response nurse, resource nurse, and 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy support

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
