Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,165 per week

Job Summary

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nursing position is located in Elko, Nevada, at a regional healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on maintaining patient stability and executing advanced clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment. Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of clinical experience in an ICU setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ART lines, central lines, ventilators, BIPAP, post-cardiac catheterization care, post-surgical care, moderate sedation, chest tube management, electrolyte management, and telemetry.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days.
• Local candidates or those living more than 60 miles from the facility are eligible to apply.
• The assignment includes weekly orientation sessions on Mondays, with a weekly rate of $55.80.
• The ICU has 7 beds, with patient ratios of 2:1 for high-acuity patients and 5:1 for medical-surgical overflow.
• Equipment used includes IV pumps, sequential compression devices (SCDs), telemetry monitors, and bedside monitoring systems.
• The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics.
• Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, focused, and able to manage their time effectively.
• The role requires reporting within 30 minutes if on call.
• No specific dress code color is required, and there are no restrictions on attire.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
