Travel General Laborer

Overview

Travel General Laborer SPAR is growing its overnight construction team! We are seeking full-time laborers who are hardworking and reliable. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel for extended periods and work nights 9pm to 6am. Responsibilities include very physical construction work, such as remodeling big box retail stores, removing and replacing damaged steel racking, moving product, building and assembling retail store shelving fixtures, updating signage, shelf conditions, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights remodeling big box retail stores
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Move product from old to new pallet racking
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions and schematics
• Completion of various tasks requiring considerable physical activity
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnights 9pm - 6am
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear to be worn on the jobsite
