Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team supporting manufacturing operations to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and reduce waste.
• Assist with all jobs on the plant floor and assume an active role in overall plant and facilities‑related work.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment according to 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lb for periods of up to 12 hours.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Availability for first and second shift.
• Good attendance record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
• Understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work closely with production personnel on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Willingness to share ideas to solve problems of essential importance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a cross‑functional team environment.
• Sense of urgency to reduce machine downtime.
• Capability to handle multiple requests simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary: $18.37 per hour.
• Annual bonus based on achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year (pro‑rated for the initial year based on start date).
