About the role
We are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient care based on severity
- Administering medications and treatments following protocols
- Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during procedures
- Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- Responding to emergency situations and ensuring patient safety
- Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist with equipment
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and adapt to irregular activity
