About the Role
Provide urgent, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Administer treatments and assist physicians
- Monitor patient safety and document care
- Educate patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Prioritize care based on acuity
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Deliver emergency treatments and monitor vital signs
- Respond to life-threatening situations
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent ER experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment
- Capacity to work under pressure with attention to detail
