About the Role
Provide high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer treatments and medications
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Monitor patient safety and respond to life-threatening situations
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Key Duties
- Rapid patient assessment and triage
- Emergency intervention and life-saving measures
- Medication administration and management
- Preparation and operation of emergency medical equipment
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Patient and family education
- Interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal emergency care delivery
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certification
