About the role
We are seeking a skilled ER RN for a travel assignment in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient care based on severity
- Administering medications and treatments following emergency protocols
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during emergency procedures
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort, documenting conditions and interventions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Responding to critical situations and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Providing patient education tailored to emergency contexts
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and move within the environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients
- Proficiency in English, computer skills, and ability to follow instructions
