About the role

The EP Lab RN plays a vital role in treating patients with cardiac conditions, assisting electrophysiologists during procedures such as ablations and device implants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Educate patients and families
• Assist with electrophysiology procedures (ablations, device implants)
• Administer medications and monitor cardiac responses
• Respond to changes in patient condition
• Provide post-procedure care and ensure safe recovery
• Maintain sterile techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least one year of recent EP lab experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• PALS or ENPC certification
• RCES or RCIS certification
