About the Role
Deliver high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer treatments and medications
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment
- Monitor patient safety and vital signs
- Document care and patient information accurately
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and multidisciplinary professionals
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
Requirements
- One year of recent emergency room (ER) experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certification
