About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on condition severity
• Administer medications and treatments following emergency protocols
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and prepare equipment
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide patient education and respond to life-threatening situations
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move, lift, and assist patients and equipment
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activity schedules

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, SANE
