About the Role

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients
• Explain procedures to patients and families
• Administer treatments and medications
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment
• Monitor patient safety and respond to life-threatening situations
• Document care and maintain accurate records
• Initiate patient education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• One year of recent ER experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE certifications

• Effective communication with patients, families, and teams
• Technical proficiency in emergency care procedures and equipment
• Physical stamina and ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills
