About the Role
Provide high-quality, urgent care in a fast-paced emergency room environment, assessing and triaging patients rapidly, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients rapidly
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments
- Prepare and manage emergency equipment
- Monitor patient safety and comfort
- Document care thoroughly in EMR
- Initiate patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Provide rapid emergency response
- Respond to life-threatening situations
- Adhere to safety and regulatory protocols
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent ER experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and perform tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
- CPI certification
- NRP certification
- SANE certification
