About the role
Emergency Room RN responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures and prepare equipment
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs, documenting findings accurately
- Respond effectively to life-threatening situations and urgent care needs
- Educate patients and families, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license, current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handle frequent public contact, and maintain attention to detail
