Travel ER RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment focused on providing high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of patients based on condition severity
• Administering medications and treatments following protocols
• Assisting physicians during emergency procedures and preparing equipment
• Monitoring patient safety and comfort, responding to urgent needs
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Educating patients and families on emergency procedures and care plans
• Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient movement
• Ability to work under pressure, manage irregular schedules, and maintain attention to detail
