About the role
We are seeking a skilled ER RN for a travel assignment in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival
- Administering medications and treatments following protocols
- Preparing equipment and supporting physicians during emergency procedures
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort continuously
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing patient education tailored to urgent needs
- Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications and skills
- Recent ER RN experience of at least one year
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC tools
- Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular schedules
