About the role
Provide urgent nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients upon arrival
- Administer medications and treatments in emergency situations
- Assist physicians during procedures and prepare equipment
- Monitor patient safety and comfort, document conditions and interventions
- Respond to life-threatening incidents and perform urgent care
- Educate patients and families about treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Follow safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Perform other duties within scope of practice
Requirements
- Recent ER nursing experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in documentation and PC skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle frequent public contact
- Maintain attention to detail
