About the Role

An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides urgent, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role involves assessing and triaging patients, administering treatments, monitoring patient safety, documenting care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Rapid patient assessment and triage based on condition severity
• Explaining procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administering medications and treatments per protocols
• Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitoring patient comfort, safety, and vital signs
• Responding to life-threatening situations and documenting interventions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in English, clinical judgment, and PC skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activities
• Effective sensory and motor coordination for procedures
