Travel ER RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment. In this role, you will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and effective care.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly triaging and assessing patients upon arrival
• Administering medications and treatments according to protocols
• Assisting physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitoring patient comfort and safety, documenting care in EMR
• Responding to life-threatening situations and providing patient education
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• At least one year of recent ER nursing experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and professionalism
