Travel ER RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Administering medications and treatments per emergency protocols
• Preparing equipment and supporting physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitoring patient safety, comfort, and vital signs, responding to urgent needs
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Providing patient education tailored to emergency situations
• Adhering to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• At least one year recent ER nursing experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move, lift, and assist with procedures
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, with attention to detail
• Proficiency in English, computer skills, and comprehension of instructions

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include additional certifications like TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, or SANE.
