About the role
We are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient care based on severity
- Administering medications and treatments following protocols
- Monitoring patient conditions, vital signs, and safety
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and explaining procedures to patients and families
- Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
- Responding to emergencies and life-saving situations
- Maintaining safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC systems
