Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize emergency patients upon arrival
- Administer medications and treatments following emergency protocols
- Assist physicians during procedures and prepare necessary equipment
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs, responding to urgent needs
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
- Provide patient education tailored to emergency situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to life-threatening situations
Requirements
- Minimum of one year recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle frequent public contact
