About the role
Provide high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer treatments and medications
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment
- Monitor patient safety and respond to emergencies
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity and urgency
- Perform emergency interventions as needed
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Work effectively under pressure while adhering to protocols
Requirements
- One year of ER experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
Skills
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency in emergency nursing procedures
