About the role
Provide rapid, high-quality emergency care by assessing, triaging, and monitoring patients. Respond to life-threatening situations, explain procedures to patients and families, and initiate patient education plans while adhering to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients in emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments
- Prepare and manage medical equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient conditions accurately
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Respond to life-threatening emergencies
- Provide patient and family education
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ER experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE certifications (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment
