About the role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment. The role involves providing high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival based on severity
• Administering medications and treatments following emergency protocols
• Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitoring patient safety, vital signs, and comfort
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic records
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Responding effectively to life-threatening situations and maintaining safety standards

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum one year of recent ER experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform clinical duties, including moving equipment and maintaining stationarity
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
